Wireshark is a packet analysis tool used to inspect network traffic in real time.
It allows you to see who is talking to whom, over what protocol, and how much data
is being transferred.
Important: Only use Wireshark on networks you own or have explicit
permission to monitor. Unauthorized interception of traffic is illegal.
Legitimate uses include troubleshooting network issues, learning protocols,
and identifying misconfigured or insecure services.
Nmap (Network Mapper) is a powerful scanning tool used to discover hosts,
open ports, running services, and operating systems on a network.
It is commonly used during the reconnaissance phase of security testing
and by system administrators to audit their own infrastructure.
Like all security tools, Nmap must be used ethically and legally.
